It’s not every day we’re asked to create a website for a classical musician!
So, we were delighted to help pianist Georgina Duncan as she embarks on her professional career after recently graduating from St Andrew’s University.
The ICG team created www.georginaduncan.com to reflect Georgina’s artistry, professionalism and personality as a romantic and impressionist pianist.
The website highlights Georgina’s musical style and journey and includes audio and visual elements. A warm, elegant aesthetic mirrors the tone of her performances alongside prompts to encourage people to make booking enquiries.
As a special thank-you, we were absolutely thrilled when Georgina offered to perform at ICG.
Surrounded by soft Christmas lights, Georgina performed a programme full of moving and lively compositions.
From Debussy’s ‘Deux Arabesques’ to Grieg’s ‘Gade’, Georgina’s recital moved from delicate impressionist pieces to warm classics. Concluding with ‘O Christmas Tree’ as we enjoyed a glass of fizz, her performance left us feeling full of Christmas spirit.
Creating the site was a collaborative process, and seeing Georgina’s response was a wonderful reminder of why we love working closely with creatives and helping them share their work with the world.
With her visit leaving us feeling both moved and uplifted, we’re proud to be supporting Georgina’s career.
