Gexcon is a trusted safety and risk management partner for complex, high hazard environments.

ICG has been a dedicated marketing partner since 2018, building up a strong understanding of the business and its direction of travel .

Nine months ago, we began working with Gexcon’s in-house team to create a new website that unified its globally based experts and promoted its services and expertise, building upon the company’s unrivalled reputation.

The project involved specialists from across ICG’s design, development, marketing and SEO teams working closely with Gexcon’s in-house team.

With a clear objective to drive leads and demonstrate industry authority, we created a customer-focused user-journey across four key areas connected to Gexcon’s services.

This approach enabled us to clearly connect customers’ requirements with Gexcon’s services – software, consulting, incident investigations, fire and explosion testing and specialist training.

We worked with the in-house marketing team to help define audience personas from regulators, engineers and safety specialists to researchers and clients worldwide.

With such a wide and technical scope, we structured the content so it was easy to navigate, no matter the level of expertise or reason for visiting.

To present Gexcon’s depth of expertise, we built 40 website template pages and worked closely with the client to populate over 300 content-rich pages. 

Visually, we evolved Gexcon’s brand into a new design system that reflects its technical and engineering specialisms. Clean, polished and gridded, the site balances professionalism with accessibility,  making complex information easier to absorb while conveying authority.

Blogs, news, case studies, white papers, past webinars are now pooled into one hub of insights, making it simple to explore specialist knowledge such as CO2 hazards in Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) fire and explosion prevention

Gexcon training offering was integrated into their Learning Management System (LMS) enabling users to view courses and course availability.

The website went live at the beginning of September 2025 – we’re now working with Gexcon on a global marketing strategy to drive growth through SEO, PPC and campaigns targeting specific countries, sectors and individuals.
